Bellmard Cottage Museum

Located at the Bellmard Inn, this museum documents the historical past of Princeton.  You’ll find displays of sporting camp equipment, kitchen items, photographs, and much more.  Open seasonally from May to October.

Downeast Lakes Land Trust

DLLT contributes to the long-term economic and environmental well-being of the Downeast Lakes region through the conservation and exemplary management of its forests and waters. Through their management of wildlife, forests, and recreation, visitors can enjoy the many hiking trails, great salmon and trout fishing, canoeing, wildlife viewing, and much more on the community fores!  They also offer educational and historical programs for both children and adults throughout the year.

Saint Croix Island is the site of the first attempt by the French to settle l’Acadie.  It is also one of the first European settlements in North America.  Today, you can walk the interpretive trail and join a ranger-led program.
